Every year, the last Wednesday of April is celebrated as International Administrative Professionals’ Day. In this light, our project manager Kriste Lauk participated at the Estonian Conference-Fair for Secretaries and Assistants, which was held for the 6th time yesterday. We find it important to be where our clients are, and oftentimes secretaries, office managers and administrative assistants are the ones who have been delegated the task of ordering translations – be it in relation to written translations or conference interpreting. Participation at the conference enabled us to share information about our services, but also about the vital role of having an excellent translation partner and the importance of high-quality translations for the marketing strategy of every company.

This year’s conference was special as it has now obtained international scope. Moreover, the first international office supplies fair “Officeday Baltic Fair Tallinn” was held within the framework of the event this year. More than 30 exponents were present at the fair, arriving from France, the United States, Lithuania, Japan, Germany, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Latvia. The conference day was hosted by a young and popular Estonian actor Henrik Kalmet!

The Estonian Training and Conference Centre, Officeday Estonia and the Estonian Assistants’ Society also organised the “Best Secretary of 2016” competition. The winner was announced at the conference’s spectacular after party held at nightclub Amigo, with a performance from the headliner Super Hot Cosmos Blues Band.
