NEON present at forthcoming medical events in March and April 2017

The world is not enough. There is always room to grow.

The new year has started with positive energy and fresh initiative for us. Our expansion plans really took off at the end of 2016, when we launched a representation office in Denmark, and this year will no doubt bring even more exciting events. The world is both expanding, as international business has very few limitations and new opportunities pop up daily, and shrinking for the very same reason – there are no more insurmountable distances. And we are sure to make this work in everyone’s favour.

Our niche specialization in medical and pharma translations has attracted a lot of attention – we are definitely on the right path here. However, not everybody is qualified for doing medical translations. This is one of the reasons why we find it important to have a presence in the Nordic countries as well. Not only does this ensure high-quality customer service, but also guarantees better contacts with our freelance specialist translators and reviewers, who are in-service professionals in their relevant medical specialization fields. Skilful team-building and project management is one of our strengths. Our work-flows are certified according to ISO9001 and ISO17100 since 2011.

In order to grow, you need to be present where your clients are. Today’s advanced digital marketing world means that the information you need is always at your fingertips. But so is information that you might not need, and everything in between. Making decisions becomes really tricky in constant information overflow. This applies to event marketing as well, but a choice has to be made among a myriad of professional fairs and conferences to attend.

Even though it was a difficult choice, we opted for events that seemed appealing due to their specialization, size or regional relevance. Therefore, in March and April 2017, we will attend the following medical events: Medico Bazar in Denmark, IDS in Cologne, Upgraded Life Festival in Finland and Scandefa in Denmark.

Big corporations are well aware that no product or service can be sold on a new market without investing in translations into the language of the target consumer. People have to be able to understand what they are buying and how to use it. This is where we come in and help companies with entering new markets or planning their marketing strategy. We can help them translate marketing materials – be it catalogues, websites, product descriptions, business plans, or other relevant texts. We even have a special copywriting service for Danish companies. This means that we can write all the necessary texts on your behalf! And then translate them. Nevertheless, a lot of work still needs to be done in order to increase customer awareness about the importance of translation services in international business. An issue that is most relevant among start-ups.

This is why one of our goals for this year is to introduce our services to companies in attendance of these exciting events (texts taken from respective homepages) and you might find it interesting to follow us in LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, since we will be writing about these same events and about the innovative products we saw there.

Our translation company will be at the Medico Bazar on March 8.

The aim of the annual Medico Bazar is to encourage knowledge sharing and connect researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, companies and investors who are interested in the field of medical devices. Medico Bazar enables everybody to showcase innovative activities, products and projects.

The classical target group of the event includes clinicians, researchers, start-up and established companies working in medical technology development, but also investors and MedTech Innovation partners, as well as other key stakeholders in the medical technology field.

Medico Bazar brings together around 400 visitors representing private and public key stakeholders in the medical field, including healthcare personnel, researchers, medtech companies, students, venture community, industry and interest organizations, as well as the media.

IDS, Cologne

We will be attending the IDS in Cologne during March 22–24.

During five days of fair, around 2,300 exhibitors from 60 countries will present the latest products, developments and trends of the dental industry. More than 140,000 international trade visitors are expected to attend.

Visitors will get to experience more innovation and a wider product range than ever before on an exhibition surface that expands over 160,000 m² in total. A visit to IDS is a must for dental professionals, dental laboratories, as well as representatives of the dental specialized trade and the dental industry.

Upgraded Life Festival is the largest health start-up and innovations event in the Nordics. The frontline of influencers in health & wellness, including start-ups, executives, investors, doctors and researchers, will be there to share their insights and showcase new solutions. This is where the rising stars of healthtech meet more established innovators from across the industry.

The event will cover the following topics: Possibilities of VR, AR & Robotics; Investing in health; Digital health at work; Healthtech and women; Big data and IoT in health; Improving performance; From researchers and healthcare professionals to entrepreneurs.

SCANDEFA, Copenhagen

The Scandinavian Dental Fair SCANDEFA will be held on April 27–28.

SCANDEFA is one of Scandinavia’s largest trade fairs in the dental supply industry and it has been an important platform for both professional and social networks of the industry for a long time now. Every year, thousands of dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists and other professionals from all over Scandinavia gather at SCANDEFA to draw inspiration, learn about latest products of dental equipment, accessories and clothing, and to network in the fantastic surroundings of the Bella Center Copenhagen.

The Annual Course of the Danish Dental Association is held in parallel with SCANDEFA. Here you can learn about the latest theories and trends in the dental field.

SCANDEFA 2016 boasted 155 exhibitors and a total visitor number of 8,022. It is also worth mentioning that 65.2 % of the visitors promised to attend SCANDEFA again this year.

We hope to see a lot of our future clients at these events. Please contact us in advance at if you are interested in a cooperation meet-up. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
